Paralegal

Overview

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Paralegal at our Corporate Office in Arlington, Texas. This on-site full-time position in the Legal Department manages contracts falling under his/her responsibility that incudes drafting and/or reviewing the contracts and moving them through the process to signature. This role requires knowledge of the types of contracts, the contracts process and approvals necessary throughout the process including final signatures. This Paralegal position will also provide legal and administrative support as needed to the attorneys in the Legal Department.

Responsibilities

• Contract Preparation
• Contract Management including seeing a contract through the process to reach the signature stage in an efficient manner
• Contract processing including collecting and maintaining records related to contracts, such as signatures, dates and amendments
• Employee Training
• Maintains contracts email inbox and enters requests into the Legal Dept. contract management system
• Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with internal customers to ensure legal needs are met across functions
• Administrative Support
• Legal Support

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 2-4 years’ work-related experience required.   
• Microsoft Office with strong skills in Microsoft Word, strong communication skills.
• Ability to operate efficiently within a contract management system, ability to handle high volume of work, attention to detail, ability to work independently, prioritization skills and ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of drafting contracts.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License
