What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Supervisor position at Six Axis, LLC?
This role reports to the Quality Manager and ensures that SixAxis products meet all agreed to requirements before they reach the customer. The Quality Supervisor will build and develop Quality Auditors and Inspectors while monitoring internal processes, quality performance and confirming the final product has been designed, built and delivered in compliance to internal and regulatory standards as well as customer expectations. This role is also responsible for supporting and continuously improving the ISO9001 Certified Quality Management System.
Supervising a team of auditors and inspectors while providing guidance and feedback for their development
Supporting and continually improving the SixAxis Quality Management System
Understanding customer requirements, regulatory, and international standards to develop both effective quality assurance and quality control processes
Generating customer facing documents including Certificate of Compliance, Material Test Reports, Inspection Test Plans, and Manufacturing Record Books
Devising, reviewing, and approving specifications for products or processes
Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
Collaborating with the Operations & Commercial teams on product and process procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
Supporting the Management of Change system including facilitation of controlled document, process, and design changes
Maintaining or developing detailed reports and reporting systems for quality data
Consistently identifying opportunities for improvement and more efficient processes and procedures
Continual personal development through Front Line Leadership Training or other professional methodologies
Analyzing audit findings and nonconformances to provide feedback to affected internal departments for RCCA
Using RCCA methodologies to reduce/eliminate external nonconformances (Field Problems)
Supporting ISO9001 Internal Audit System
Maintaining a budget and determining which resources are critical to the operation of the Quality Team
