Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices
- Perform repairs on electronic components, mechanical parts, and systems according to established procedures
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs, including parts used, procedures performed, and time spent on each task
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot persistent problems and develop effective solutions
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe working environment during all repair activities
- Test repaired equipment to verify proper functioning before returning it to service
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with necessary tools and supplies for efficient workflow
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role in electronics or mechanical repair
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components, with the ability to interpret technical diagrams and manuals
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters, multimeters, and other testing equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to document repairs clearly and collaborate effectively with colleagues
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or training preferred
