Sitter For Your Critters is looking for a dependable, animal-loving Pet Sitter/Dog Walker to join our professional team!
What the job looks like:
Our pet care team members make multiple visits throughout the day (morning, mid-day, dinnertime, and late evening) to care for pets in their homes. Visits may include:
- Dog walking and exercise
- Feeding and fresh water
- Playtime and companionship
- Administering medications (when needed)
- Cleaning up after pets
- Providing lots of love and attention
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets’ well-being and any notable incidents or concerns
Skills
- Must live in or very near Chico (within ~5 miles preferred)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Comfortable caring for dogs, cats, and other animals
- Responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently
- Must be extremely reliable—pets depend on you showing up on time, every time
- Able to walk multiple dogs per day in various weather conditions
- Comfortable handling dogs of different sizes and energy levels
- Able to stay active and on your feet throughout the day
- Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners
Availability Needed
- Daily availability (Tuesdays & Thursdays are especially important)
- Availability for morning, mid-day, evening, and late-night visits
- Weekend and holiday availability
- Must be available during Thanksgiving week and Christmas week
