Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Customer Engineer with a background in semiconductors to join our technical support and customer success team. In this role, you will act as a key technical liaison between our product development teams and our customers across Central Europe, ensuring optimal integration, performance, and application of our semiconductor solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and solutions to customers in pre-sales and post-sales stages.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend suitable semiconductor products or systems.
- Collaborate closely with R&D and product marketing teams to align customer needs with product features.
- Develop and deliver product presentations, technical documentation, and training.
- Support design-in efforts for customer projects (e.g., embedded systems, power electronics, RF).
- Conduct in-depth technical problem solving and root cause analysis.
- Participate in field trials, customer visits, and technical workshops across the region.
- Stay current with semiconductor trends, applications, and competitive landscape.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in semiconductor applications, support, or product engineering.
- Solid knowledge of analog/digital electronics, ICs, power devices, or embedded systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in debugging hardware/software systems.
- Fluent in English; German or another Central European language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel (~25–40%) across Central Europe.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

- Tech-savvy: Comfortable with simulation tools, lab equipment, embedded systems, and common programming/scripting languages (e.g., C, Python, MATLAB).
- Customer-focused: Strong commitment to supporting clients and understanding their needs from a system and business perspective.
- Clear communicator: Able to explain complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative spirit: Works well with cross-functional teams, including sales, R&D, and product marketing.
- Cultural adaptability: Comfortable working in diverse, multinational environments across Central Europe.
- Reliability: Dependable, structured, and consistent in delivering high-quality work on time.
The actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
SiTime compensation packages includes base salary, bonus based on achieving your innovation goals and equity.
