Job Summary
The Post‑Silicon Validation Systems Engineer II is responsible for productizing SiTime’s MEMS‑based timing products. This role focuses on mixed‑signal post‑silicon validation and characterization, system algorithms, firmware development, and support of hardware and test automation. The engineer will execute failure analysis, prototype new system architectures, and collaborate cross‑functionally with MEMS, CMOS, NPI, Operations, and Marketing teams.

Responsibilities:
- Validate, characterize, and release MEMS‑based timing products to production
- Perform engineering failure analysis to root cause product issues
- Collaborate with MEMS and circuit design teams to evaluate new silicon at the system and block levels
- Recommend design improvements to enhance performance and robustness
- Design and execute experiments to prototype new system architectures and technologies
- Design, develop, and validate PCB test platforms and firmware for automated data acquisition and analysis
- Develop and transfer algorithms to final test and production environments
- Perform engineering failure analysis to identify root causes of product issues
Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Radio engineering or Metrology.
Exceptional candidates with other backgrounds will be considered. - Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics.
- Programming skills in Matlab/Python or C .
- Experience in working with electronic measurement instruments (multimeters, counters, oscilloscopes, etc) .
- Strong statistical analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of data processing and presentation.
- Understanding of PCB layout/fabrication.
