We are a premier manufacturer in the building materials industry and actively seeking to add the right person to our team to help us grow. This award winning company supplies materials across the US but mainly focuses it's attention in the Houston area. We are looking to add a receptionist with the ability to perform the duties of a production clerk.
Key Responsibilities:
· Record Keeping:
Maintaining accurate records of production data, such as customer orders, work tickets, and individual production sheets.
· Inventory Management:
Tracking inventory levels, ensuring materials are available, and ordering supplies as needed.
· Data Entry:
Entering data into databases, including production data, inventory information, and other relevant details.
· Report Generation:
Preparing reports on production progress, inventory levels, and other key metrics.
· Communication:
Communicating with production teams, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflows and address any issues.
· Administrative Tasks:
Handling administrative tasks such as answering phones, making copies, and filing paperwork.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: Accurate record-keeping and data entry are crucial.
- Organizational Skills: Maintaining records, schedules, and inventory requires strong organizational abilities.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicating with various departments and teams is important.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer software and databases is essential. Specifically, Mircosoft Office Suite – Excel, Access, Word, etc.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Identifying and addressing production-related issues requires problem-solving abilities. Basic Math skills necessary.
Summary
As a Production Clerk, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility, reporting directly to the Vice President of Operations. Your core responsibilities will include managing assembly line tasks, utilizing mechanical knowledge, and ensuring efficient workflow. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access, will aid in data entry and organizational tasks. Additionally, your skills with social media and other web based platforms, will enhance our company's growth. We seek a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills to contribute to our team's success in a dynamic production environment.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
