Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer with expertise in land development to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles and experience managing land development projects from conception to completion. This position offers a casual work environment, flexible hours, and occasional remote work opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop land development projects, including site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway design.
- Perform feasibility studies, site investigations, and environmental assessments.
- Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and design stormwater management systems.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure project compliance and success.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Offer creative and efficient solutions to engineering challenges.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.
- Experience in land development projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Minimum of 5 years of land development engineering experience (preferred but not required).
