Position Overview
The Customer Support Specialist develops and maintains relationships with important customers in order to promote new business growth within these accounts.
Work location: Regal Chemical: 600 Branch Dr, Alpharetta, GA 30004
What you'll do:
- Support sales team requests
- Order entry
- Bids and contract pricing backup
- Pesticide license reporting
- Freght Claims
- Route Local deliveries in GA and AL
- Contact customers to ensure they are aware of and fully utilizing all SiteOne capabilities including SiteOne University, vendor support, and Partner’s Program
- Communicate current marketing programs and events to the local customer base
- Partner and communicate effectively with Sales Support Representatives, Line of Business Specialists, and other store associates to support order placement, order fulfillment, and a high level of customer satisfaction. Facilitate effective hand-off of customers to store personnel when appropriate.
- Report progress against opportunities to share verifiable outcomes
- Provide in-store support such as working the counter or assisting in the yard as needed
- Assist with special projects such as store openings and regional marketing campaigns as needed
Skills We Are Seeking
- 1 to 3 years of customer service/sales support experience preferred
- Green industry experience or knowledge of landscape, nursery, and irrigation products a plus
- Ability to talk easily with new people and communicate clearly over the phone
- Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills
- Knowledge of sales cycle and solution selling techniques a plus
- Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft Office skills (including Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
