The Administrative Customer Service Representative is an integral member of the branch team. This is a multifaceted role that provides administrative support and customer service support to help keep the day-to-day functions of the branch running smoothly and to help the branch in achieving it’s sales and service goals.

What you’ll do:

• Respond to inquiries and assist customers with the sale of products over the phone
• Research, analyze, and respond to inquiries of complex nature and assist less experienced staff with complex customer issues
• Enter and receive purchase orders, and process other forms and documents as needed
• Support daily tasks such as sales and inventory reporting, balancing bank deposits, and more
• May assist with ordering nursery and irrigation product inventory, maintaining inventory, and performing cycle counts
• May help to coordinate training for development of employees on functional responsibilities, new systems or business programs
• Order general office supplies for use throughout the facility. Maintain office supply inventory, initiate orders as necessary, and request approval of invoices.

• 1-3 years’ experience in administrative or clerical activities such as answering phones, scheduling, planning, and utilizing office equipment
• Great customer service skills
• General understanding of accounting fundamentals such as debits, credits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgets, etc. and can use the knowledge with assistance
• Retail inventory or cycle count experience helpful
• Knowledge of nursery, irrigation, and landscape products a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
