A day in the blend roomAt our Oak Creek, WI facility, your shift begins by reviewing batch tickets and preparing ingredients. You set up the blending equipment, verify scales and controls, and follow precise formulas to produce consistent product. Throughout the run, you monitor time, speed, temperature, and appearance, pausing to make adjustments that keep every batch on spec.Quality is your compass. You perform in-process checks, record measurements and results, and log each step of production so the work is traceable and repeatable. If a blend behaves unexpectedly, you team up with colleagues to troubleshoot, correct the issue, and keep production moving. Between runs, you sanitize, organize, and stage the next recipe—because a clean, well-ordered space is essential to safe, efficient work.How you’ll contributeOperate industrial mixers and auxiliary equipment to combine ingredients according to detailed recipes and formulations.Continuously observe blends to ensure uniformity, adjusting parameters as needed for quality and consistency.Complete routine quality checks and maintain accurate production and batch records.Partner with team members to diagnose and resolve blending challenges.Uphold sanitation and safety standards while keeping the work area orderly.Support onboarding by showing new team members proper blending procedures and equipment use.Participate in continuous improvement efforts to boost efficiency and elevate product quality.What you bringHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional technical coursework is a plus.Experience in blending or manufacturing preferred.Keen attention to detail and comfort following exact instructions.Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.Ability to lift heavy materials and remain on your feet for extended periods.Basic knowledge of safety practices and quality control methods.Flexibility to work variable hours and overtime when needed.Demonstrated proficiency in blending operations.
