Job Description:
We are hiring a Tooling Specialist to be responsible for Toolroom repair projects, mold evaluations, assist with the coordination of outsourced mold repairs and continuous improvement of tooling.

We are hiring a Tooling Specialist to be responsible for Toolroom repair projects, mold evaluations, assist with the coordination of outsourced mold repairs and continuous improvement of tooling.
What You Will Do:
- Ability to do Mold Evaluations and be able to recommend mold rebuilds (done at mold cycle schedule)
- Ability to accurately evaluate and execute mold repairs or changes.
- Ability to evaluate and check in new molds from outside vendors.
- Identify and communicate any possible tooling improvements.
- Ability to delegate work as well as train Tool Room Lead and Mold Maintenance Technicians.
- Ability to work overtime based on production needs.
- Adhere to production and quality standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot molds (in and outside of the press)
- Ability to accurately evaluate mold repairs or changes.
- Ability to delegate work as well as train Tool Room Lead and Mold Maintenance Technicians.
- Successful completion of forklift training.
- Mold building experience is preferred or 8 years of mold maintenance/repairs
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have good problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must have own precision tools.
- Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Prior forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to work non-standard hours including weekend shifts.
- Must have a valid driver's license, with an acceptable driving record, along with adequate insurance.
