Role Description
This is a full-time role located in
Palm Desert, CA, with remote work and on site work required. The Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of Site Solar’s equipment, including solar generators and light towers.
Day-to-day tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently. The role requires hands-on technical work, attention to detail, and teamwork to support and
maintain high-quality site power and lighting solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair
- Experience in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical systems in solar-powered equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff and clients
- A technical certification or relevant training in mechanics, electrical systems, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of solar power systems or renewable energy equipment is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in both on-site and remote settings
- Forklift experience required
