Job Title: Survey Technician/ Field Technician
Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our civil engineering and land surveying firm. This position starts with field training alongside our party chief in the Southern Maryland area. Once trained, the right candidate will work in (or in coordination with) our Upper Marlboro office processing survey data, while remaining flexible to assist in the field as needed. Part-time availability is acceptable, with a minimum of three days per week. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process field data using Trimble Business Center, perform QA/QC, and prepare drawings in AutoCAD
- Conduct deed research and general office tasks
- Learn robotic total station and GNSS data collection
- Provide field support during busy periods
Qualifications:
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail
- Physically capable of working outdoors in the field
- Experience with AutoCAD, Trimble, or surveying is a plus — we will train the right person
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record. For a trained candidate, some digital remote access work may be made available to reduce the commute to Upper Marlboro.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
