What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Trainer position at Sit Means Sit Dog Training Syracuse?
Have you ever wanted to make a career out of dog training? We are looking for a full time Dog Trainer to join our amazing team. This position will work directly with clients and their dogs.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Train our day train dogs and conduct private lessons at the facility or in public areas.
- Conducting or supporting group classes.
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
Employee Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Be available to work Tuesday-Friday from 8am-8pm, these hours may vary. Saturdays are on a rotating basis from 8:30am-3:00pm.
- No experience necessary but is appreciated.
- Must have general knowledge of dog behavior.
- Must be comfortable handling all sizes, ages, and temperaments of dogs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
