What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at Sisters of Saint Joseph?
The Congregation of St. Joseph in La Grange Park is hiring a Cook to join our Food Service Team! Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and some holidays.
As a Cook, you are responsible for handling and preparing food in accordance with sanitary regulations and ensuring that standardized recipes are followed, nutritional requirements are met and food is palatbale and appetizing in appearance. You must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities and be able to make simple estimates relative to quantities of food required.

Formal food service or culinary training and a valid Serv Safe certification is required. You must be able to come to work on time, when scheduled. You must be a team player that wants to work in a collaborative environment.
