What do Dietary Aides do at SND?
- Must be compassionate with persons who are ill, disabled, and elderly.
- Preparing individual dietary menus based on patients' medical conditions, physical health, preferences, and distastes.
- Assisting with meal preparation and serving.
- Inspecting special dietary meals to ensure they comply with the dietary restrictions of that sister.
- Monitoring patients' eating habits and reporting problems with swallowing, chewing, or loss of appetite to the Dietary Manager.
- Assisting the Manager and staff with determining kitchen supplies and stock for the day, as well as checking and maintaining stock levels and replacing stock as needed.
- Assisting with cleaning duties including dish washing, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash and recycling, returning clean dishes and utensils, pots and pans to their proper locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay: $16.00 per hour
