What do Cooks do at SND?

· Cooks prepares the main meal at dinner and a lighter supper that is nutritious and tasty.

· Ensure meals meet dietary needs (e.g., vegetarian, allergies, cultural/religious guidelines)

· Maintains a clean, organized, and safe kitchen in compliance with health regulations

· Manage food inventory, including receiving supplies

What experience or skills do you need to be a Cook?

· 1 years of cooking experience

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Experience preparing meals in line with safe and healthy dietary practice.

· Experience working in a similar capacity in a Senior Living setting is helpful, but not required

· A positive and cheerful disposition and willing to work as a team are a must!
