The purpose of the Local Delivery Driver is to ensure timely, effective, and responsible furniture delivery, providing excellent customer service. This includes handling replacement or warranty trips to customer residences or businesses. Occasional travel with the white glove delivery team may also be required. Achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals in this role is crucial for the company's continued growth and success.
This role involves timely and high-quality deliveries, requiring a customer-focused approach to meet client needs. The individual must be flexible, willing to float between the commercial shipping team and potentially the production team. During the off-season, responsibilities may include working on the assembly line or assisting the commercial shipping team to achieve company objectives.
Candidates will need to have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record.
