SMT Machine Operator

SisTech Manufacturing is an electronics manufacturing services (EMS) company in central Oregon. We are seeking a motivated individual for set-up, programming, and operation of machinery used in SMT electronic assembly. Candidates with recent relevant experience may be considered for an immediate role as an SMT Operator; less experienced candidates will start by loading and unloading components offline to support our existing SMT operators. All applicants must be able to quickly and accurately load, program, and operate equipment in strict accordance with program configurations, company standards, and on-the-job training. Qualified applicants will demonstrate competency in the areas below through a pre-employment exam.

What you'll do:

• Set up, load, and unload SMT placement equipment
• Program and operate machinery in accordance with program configurations and company standards
• Follow documented work instructions and quality procedures precisely
• Support existing SMT operators with offline component loading/unloading while building experience
• Discern alphanumeric codes quickly and accurately for component identification
• Communicate effectively with co-workers to keep the line running smoothly

• High school diploma or GED, and experience performing the duties above — or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice to have (but not required):

• Experience with SMT placement equipment or comparable CNC machining equipment
• Familiarity with electronic devices and proper handling procedures
• Prior manufacturing, assembly, or quality-focused role experience
