Job Description :

1. Hardware Support

Rack, stack, and decommission servers, network, and storage equipment.

Replace hardware components (hard drives, memory, power supplies, cables).

Label, inventory, and document all hardware changes.

2. Physical Infrastructure Maintenance

Manage structured cabling (fiber/copper) installations and patching.

Perform power and cooling checks.

Maintain cleanliness and safety in the data center.

3. Troubleshooting & Incident Support

Respond to service tickets for physical interventions (system reboots, cable reseating, LED status checks).

Collaborate with remote teams for diagnostics and updates.

Escalate issues as needed.

4. Monitoring & Documentation

Maintain logs of activities and interventions.

Provide reports on equipment status and completed tasks.

Use monitoring tools and asset management systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 5-7 years in hands-on IT support or data center environment.

Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of servers, networking equipment, and structured cabling.

Tools: Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, TDX).

Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

On-site presence in a secure data center facility.

Resetting systems and switching cables/plugs.

Supporting scheduled (planned) and non-scheduled (unplanned) activities.

Providing local resource support for alert-incident remediation.

Ensuring compliance with ITIL-based processes.

Maintaining 8x5 service windows for physical administration.
