Siskin Rehabilitation Hospital is looking to add an Inpatient Therapy Scheduler to our team of caring, professional go-getters! The Inpatient Scheduler develops individualized treatment schedules for inpatients at Siskin Hospital and Siskin West in conjunction with all disciplines, maximizing the patient’s potential to participate in and benefit from rehabilitative services while meeting all relevant regulatory standards. Works closely with the Director of Inpatient Therapy Services and Therapy Managers to address any issues that are limiting the accuracy of patient scheduling. Complete Weekly Interdisciplinary Team Meeting scheduling. Provides clerical support as requested. Follows all program and department policies and procedures. Contributes to meeting the goals of the program / department as well as the Hospital.
Our Inpatient Scheduler reports to the Director of Inpatient Therapy Services and works in cooperation with various treatment team members, patients, external vendors, and a variety of health care providers. He/She has no direct supervisory responsibility. This position would cover (2) 12-hour shifts per week.

Education
Minimum qualifications or equivalents -
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospital environment, preferred.
- Formal course work in computer operations or on-the-job experience in computer operations required.
- 2 years experience in data entry.
- None required
- Ability to work with multiple employees with differing job responsibilities.
- Must be able to prioritize and respond professionally to multiple requests.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations in a calm organized manner.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong typing and general clerical skills.
Position requires ability to frequently:
- Push, pull, and/or lift objects more than 20 pounds.
- Perform moderately difficult manipulative skills.
- Walk, sit and/or stand for prolonged periods, remain in awkward positions for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to see and observe objects closely and visually discriminate colors.
- Distinguish variations in sound such as voice patterns or pertinent information from background noise.
- Concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption and attend to task for longer than 60 minutes at a time.
