Key Responsibilities
- Direct daily manufacturing and production activities to meet output, quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Adjust production schedules and resources based on demand, staffing, equipment availability, and operational issues.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Recruit, train, coach, mentor, and evaluate manufacturing employees and frontline leaders.
- Maintain a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and company requirements.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to resolve production issues and maintain efficient product flow.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to productivity, throughput, quality/defects, cost, and overall operational performance.
- Drive corrective actions and process improvements based on performance data.
- Communicate manufacturing/program status, operational risks, performance, and financial health to executive leadership and clients.
- Support cost-control initiatives while maintaining production and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
- MBA or advanced degree in Project Management, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
