Responsibilities
- Bend and install EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit.
- Plan and execute clean, efficient conduit runs on commercial and industrial job sites.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and construction plans.
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and components.
- Use electrical testing equipment and tools to diagnose electrical issues.
- Collaborate with project teams and other trades to meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and industry best practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in training to develop building automation and controls skills.
- Minimum of three years of commercial or industrial electrical experience.
- Strong conduit-bending and installation skills.
- Ability to work with EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Working knowledge of electrical theory, codes, and safe work practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- Able to pass required background screening and drug testing.
- Willingness and motivation to learn building automation and controls.
- Experience threading rigid conduit.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician certification or license.
- Previous exposure to building automation, HVAC controls, low-voltage controls, or industrial automation.
