Position Overview

As a Paper-Based LSAT Test Proctor, you will oversee the end-to-end administration of LSAT exams, ensuring all test materials are handled securely and that testing procedures are followed exactly. • Ensure each test taker’s materials remain separated at all times
  • Review the roster with each test taker, confirming identity, number of sections, approved breaks, and timing
  • Communicate testing rules prior to entry (no phones or electronics, shoes remain on, quiet environment, etc.)
  • Open section envelopes in front of test takers and ensure all required documentation is completed before testing begins
  • Confirm the LawHub timer is visible and running on the screen prior to each section
  • Independently track all testing and break times (standard: 53-minute sections, 10-minute breaks unless accommodations apply)
  • Ensure all test takers start and stop exactly on time
  • Actively monitor breaks to prevent phone use, communication, or rule violations
  • Maintain a quiet, controlled environment and promptly report any irregularities or incidents
