About the Role
Sirius AV LLC is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for pre-wiring and installing smart home and security systems in residential new construction and finished homes, as well as select commercial projects. We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality work.
Key Responsibilities
● Pre-wire, install, and troubleshoot smart home components and security systems
● Complete project-related tasks as assigned
● Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety
Qualifications
● At least 1 year of experience with low-voltage wiring
● Working knowledge of AV, networking, lighting control, and security systems
● Experience with smart home systems and integration is a plus
● Familiarity with brands such as Control4, Lutron, Savant preferred
Soft Skills
● Dependable and punctual
● Able to work independently and as part of a team
● Strong commitment to quality and integrity
Work Details
● Primary job sites in the greater Reno/Carson Valley area
● Report directly to job sites; occasional warehouse visits may be required
● Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with occasional overtime
