Software Developer PowerBuilder / .NET

Hybrid Position

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to support modernization, maintenance, and enhancement initiatives for the Health Provider Administration (HPA) system. The ideal candidate will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Gathering and analyzing business requirements with stakeholders
• Participating in technical design and solution planning sessions
• Creating technical specifications and system documentation
• Designing, coding, testing, and implementing software modules using PowerBuilder and .NET technologies
• Developing and maintaining databases, tables, triggers, stored procedures, and SQL queries
• Performing unit, system, and stress testing activities
• Reviewing code and test results of development team members
• Supporting helpdesk requests, troubleshooting issues, and implementing system enhancements
• Collaborating with project teams in environments following formal project management methodologies
  
  

Required Experience

• 7 years of experience writing PowerBuilder code
• 4 years of experience with C# / .NET development
• 4 years of experience with database development including SQL, triggers, stored procedures, and table design
• 5 years of experience gathering requirements and creating technical design documentation
• 5 years of experience working on projects following Project Management methodologies
