The Senior IT Project Manager will lead large-scale, enterprise-level IT and business transformation initiatives from project initiation through successful completion. This role is responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, vendors, and stakeholder communications while ensuring compliance with organizational governance and procurement requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing multiple workstreams and delivering complex technology projects in structured enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise IT and business transformation projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Manage change requests through formal change control processes.
• Provide executive-level status reporting and project communications.
• Ensure compliance with organizational governance, policies, and procurement requirements.
• Oversee vendor performance and contract deliverables.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder workshops.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
• Support project quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Smartsheet
• Jira
• Similar enterprise PM tools
• Experience ensuring compliance with governance, organizational policies, and procurement requirements.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working in public sector or state government environments.
• Experience supporting public safety or law enforcement agencies.
• Experience managing projects under state procurement frameworks such as:
• FAST
• DIR
• Similar government contracting frameworks
