Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for software development, infrastructure, data migration, and enterprise initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project activities across technical and business teams.
- Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including:
- Sprint Planning
- Daily Standups
- Sprint Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Backlog Grooming
- Manage project backlogs using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Support Feature Driven Design (FDD) methodologies.
- Coordinate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development Teams.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures.
- Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies.
- Track and report:
- Cost Performance Index (CPI)
- Schedule Performance Index (SPI)
- Budget Variance
- Schedule Variance
- Forecast project costs and resource utilization.
- Support portfolio planning and resource allocation activities.
- Assist with requirements gathering and documentation.
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Ensure business requirements align with project objectives.
- Manage communication with executive leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Facilitate project status meetings and executive reporting.
- Manage vendor deliverables and contractual obligations.
- Analyze workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Support tactical and strategic resource planning initiatives.
- Assist with governance, policy development, and organizational planning efforts.
- Contribute to legislative budget requests and enterprise planning initiatives.
