Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing data environments and data structures to determine transformation requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Create and manage Power BI paginated reports.
- Develop Power BI dataflows and semantic models.
- Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and improve existing reports.
- Build reporting roadmaps and BI strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Convert WebFOCUS and Mainframe FOCUS queries into T-SQL queries.
- Work with database administrators to create database views, stored procedures, and optimized reporting structures.
- Automate data transformation processes and reduce dependency on Excel-based reporting.
- Analyze financial datasets and recommend enhancements to data models.
- Manage and administer Power BI workspaces and reporting environments.
- Train business users and financial teams on Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and reporting standards.
