Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with a strong background in Salesforce development and administration. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, hold both Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer certifications, and demonstrate expertise in building accessible (WAG/ADA-compliant) solutions.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and QA teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions that meet business and accessibility requirements.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, and implement custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Configure and customize Salesforce environments, including objects, fields, workflows, process automation, and permissions.
- Ensure all user interfaces and features meet WCAG/ADA/508 accessibility standards.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, or third-party applications.
- Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications to improve performance, usability, and compliance.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and participate in deployment and release management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and solutions.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce platform updates, features, and accessibility best practices.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration, automation tools (Flow, Process Builder), and data modeling.
- Proven experience implementing ADA / WCAG 2.1 / Section 508 in Salesforce applications (knowledge of WCAG 2.1 guidelines preferred).
- Familiarity with Salesforce integration patterns and tools such as MuleSoft, REST, or SOAP APIs.
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification (Developer II preferred)
