Python Developer with Quantitative Risk experience

Job Title: Python Quantitative Risk Developer

Location: New York, NY / Charlotte, NC / Atlanta, GA (Day One Onsite)

Experience: 05 Years | No of Position: 2 | Long term opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive web-based UIs using React and Python.
• Strong understanding of capital markets (Fixed Income, Derivatives) and Risk management (Market risk, Credit risk).
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS).
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Familiarity with risk engines or pricing models is a plus
• Develop backend services and APIs with Python for risk data processing.
• Collaborate with Bank's risk and compliance teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Apply strong software engineering principles including modular design, testing, and CI/CD.
• Participate in hands-on coding, peer reviews, and agile ceremonies.

Required Skills:

• 5 6 years of experience in Python and React.
• Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of Java.
• Experience with Kafka, MQ, and real-time data streaming.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation.
• Proven track record of delivering hands-on coding projects in production environments.
• Strong learning mindset and ability to adapt to evolving tech stacks.
