🔬 Hiring: Lab Assistant
We are currently hiring an entry-level Lab Assistant for a microbiological testing laboratory in Newark, Delaware.
📍 Location: Newark, DE 19711
💼 Job Type: Contract
⏳ Duration: Approx. 25 weeks possible extension or Permanent opportunity
🕐 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
⏱️ Hours: 40 hours/week
💰 Pay: $18–$20/hr W2
• Receive, unpack, organize, and prepare customer samples
• Assist with sample processing and customer returns
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and equipment
• Assist with inventory and restocking lab supplies
• Operate a laser cutter under supervision
• Properly dispose of cultures, chemicals, sharps, and glass
• Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, GMP, and quality systems
• Support other laboratory activities as assigned
✅ High School Diploma or Associate Degree in Microbiology or related discipline
✅ 0–2 years of laboratory experience preferred
✅ Strong attention to detail and communication skills
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented laboratory
✅ No certification or licensure required
Salary : $18 - $20
