Join our team at our brand new beachfront restaurant, located within the newly renovated Hilton Tapestry Collection hotel. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to be part of this exciting new venture.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for serving beverages and food, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Experience in fine dining or nightlife settings is preferred, along with proficiency in POS systems.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and addressing their needs.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, dining tables, and service stations.
- Process transactions using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, including cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Assist in setting up for events, including banquets and catering services.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
- Manage time effectively to balance multiple tasks during busy shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bartending or serving role within the food industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Experience in fine dining, nightclub settings, or catering services is advantageous.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
