Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time paralegal position located in Bridgewater, NJ. As a paralegal you will provide legal assistance to our attorneys in family law matters, including drafting letters, communicating with our clients and the courts, filing legal documents, and conducting research.
You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, managing case files, and ensuring timely and accurate communication with all parties involved. Collaboration with a dedicated team of professionals while upholding the high standards of the firm is essential to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in legal research, case preparation, and drafting legal documents
- Strong knowledge and experience in family law, including divorce and child custody cases
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Must have a paralwgla certificate
- Strong organizational and time-management skills for handling multiple cases simultaneously
- Prior experience of five years on family law required
- Fluent in Spanish is preferred
