Job description:
Quick printing company serving the greater Boston area, is seeking a Print Production Operator
The right individual will have proficiency with the following:
- 3 years experience, specifically in one of the following environments: copy/printing center, retail copy/print shop
- Experience with project management of a print order (from paper selection to meeting the clients final outcome requirements)
- Digital printing
- Large format printing and mounting
- Quality consistency
- Adobe Creative Cloud applications including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Fiery RIPs
- Basic math skills
- Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
- Clear communications with internal teams and customers
- Handling multiple and changing priorities
- Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with PrintSmith is a bonus
Responsibilities:
- Reviews work orders and files for accuracy
- Prepares and outputs client files for printing
- Sends proofs to customers and follows up to keep projects moving
- Produces digital print jobs
- Maintains work area in clean and organized fashion
- Daily Administrative assistant tasks
