What You'll Do
- Set up and remove traffic control devices, including signs, cones, barricades, message boards, and other work zone equipment.
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic through construction zones.
- Assist with roadway and parking lot pavement marking operations.
- Operate and maintain traffic control and striping equipment.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues in the field.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Work as part of a team to deliver safe, high-quality roadway projects.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
- CDL preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding work.
- Willingness to work overtime, travel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic.
- Traffic control, pavement marking, construction, landscaping, or related experience is a plus.
