JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a job that keeps you busy and pays well? Then Sir Grout will be a great fit for you. Due to recent growth in our company, Sir Grout of NE Florida is hiring a FULL TIME Service Technician.

The FULL Service Technician is responsible for the floor/hard surface restoration work in homes and businesses and ensuring that the customer is completely satisfied with the service performed. The candidate must be exceptional when dealing with customers. It's a "hands-on" role where you will be using our unique machinery and materials to restore and reseal marble, travertine and tile floors, showers, counter tops and other hard surface areas that are damaged and in need of beautifying. This is not an office position.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Show up on-time for each job, and complete an initial walk-through with the customer.

- Perform all quoted tasks for the customer to their complete satisfaction.

- Answer any questions for the customer calmly and politely (the customer is always right)

- Conduct a final, thorough walk-through inspection with the customer.

- Collect full payment for the work and have the customer sign-off on the invoice.

- Call in with a full update before leaving the job site.

AN IDEAL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE SHOULD HAVE:

- A "customer first" attitude and an ability to interact professionally with customers.

.- Some experience working with a 175rpm floor machine or "swing machine"

- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Must be meticulous and organized.

- Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.

- Reliable work ethic, honest and on time. Especially on time!

- Must be trainable; able to follow specific instructions. Able to lift heavy equipment (75 lbs.).

- Available weekdays, occasional Saturdays and some evenings.

- A working cell phone

- Previous stone restoration, tile installation, construction background and sales experience all a major PLUS.

- MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG TEST.

- A CLEAN DRIVER RECORD IS NECESSARY FOR EMPLOYMENT

- A FLORIDA MVR IS REQUIRED FOR EMPOYMENT

COMPENSATION

- Salary starts at $18 -$20 an hour or more depending on experience.

POSITION LOGISTICS

- Location: Position covers all of Duval, St John’s, Nassau, and Clay counties

- Environment: Mostly inside homes and businesses (95%); some outdoor (5%)

- Equipment: Provided by Sir Grout

- Materials: Provided by Sir Grout

- Must have your own vehicle and phone
- Typical end time:

• 3:30 PM

- Typical start time:

• 7:30AM
