Farm Hand/Laborer

Sippel Farms is seeking a reliable and hardworking Farm Hand/Laborer to join our team. This full-time position offers a variety of tasks on both our row crop farm and feedlot operations. You’ll be responsible for operating large agricultural equipment, performing general labor tasks, assisting with animal care, and helping maintain a clean and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain large farming equipment such as tractors, skidsteers, semis, etc.
• Assist in the daily care and feeding of livestock. Help with moving animals between pens and loading/unloading livestock from semis.
• Clean and maintain feedlot facilities
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and facilities.
• Help with seasonal tasks, including planting, fertilizing, spraying and harvest.
• Work in all weather conditions and maintain a flexible schedule during peak seasons.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be reliable, dependable, and willing to learn new skills.
• Experience with farm machinery and equipment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physical labor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus but not required).
• Must be flexible with working hours depending on the season and workload.
