Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Construction Laborer role based in Chambersburg, PA. The Construction Laborer will assist with general construction activities, including site preparation, excavation support, backfilling, grading, and cleanup of work areas. Daily tasks include loading and unloading materials, setting up and breaking down tools and equipment, and supporting trades on commercial site development, utilities, and road work projects. The role may involve basic masonry, flooring, or renovation support under supervision, as well as following directions from site supervisors and equipment operators. The Construction Laborer is expected to follow all company safety procedures, use personal protective equipment correctly, and help maintain an organized and safe job site.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of general Construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and basic use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to support Masonry and Flooring work, such as mixing materials, assisting with installation, and maintaining clean, level surfaces.
- Experience or aptitude in Renovation projects, including demolition support, debris removal, and assisting in rebuilding or repairs.
- Willingness to perform basic Research related to job tasks, safety guidelines, and equipment use as directed by supervisors.
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting, carrying, standing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, punctuality, and teamwork on construction sites.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior construction or site development experience is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Chambersburg, PA job site preferred.
