Job requirements include being able to stand for 5 hrs/shift, be able to lift 25 lbs, can read and write, be able to follow instructions/directions, have reliable transportation to work, exceptional customer service and social skills.

Our ideal candidate is hard working, self motivated, detail oriented, great with customers, and has previous experience in customer service or food service industries.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, providing product information and recommendations.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments.
• Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer interest and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays by stocking shelves, organizing products, and ensuring the store looks inviting at all times.
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment, inventory counts, and reporting low-stock items.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
• Supervise and mentor new team members or less experienced staff to foster a collaborative environment focused on customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions.
• Previous supervising experience or leadership roles within retail environments.
• Ability to perform retail math calculations confidently for sales totals, discounts, and inventory counts.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage bilingual customers effectively.
• Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and stocking procedures in a grocery or retail store setting.
• Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette to handle inquiries smoothly. Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
