Duties

• Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, range, slicers, and food processors
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with meal preparation for service periods, ensuring timely delivery of quality food
• Follow food handling procedures meticulously to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and maintain smooth workflow

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper handling techniques
• Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient prep
• Experience operating various kitchen equipment safely and correctly
• Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining consistency in meal quality
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Demonstrated understanding of safety standards in food production environments
• Previous catering experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
