Duties
Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, and preparing patients for examinations.
Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse with precision.
Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked for daily procedures.
Perform basic clinical procedures including fitting and dispensing medical equipment, casting for orthotics, performing X-rays of the foot and ankle-certification provided.
Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately by documenting patient encounters, updating charts.
Support outpatient clinic settings by coordinating patient flow and assisting with procedures when needed.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols such as Basic Life Support (BLS) standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Skills
Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, ensure accurate documentation and effective communication.
Experience in medical setting or hospital environments is highly valued.
Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for managing electronic health records efficiently and securely.
Exceptional patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically across diverse populations.
Hands-on experience with medical, X-ray procedures, and inpatient or outpatient clinical workflows.
Familiarity with hospital experience or Geriatrics care enhances your ability to adapt to various patient needs.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
