Siouxland Community Health Center has an opening for:
Prenatal Services Manager
Full-time position - typical hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Education, Training and Skills:
- Graduate of Registered Nursing Program with Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
- Minimum 2 years successful work experience as an RN, with clinical experience at an FQHC, or OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery preferred.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience is strongly desired, preferably in a clinic setting.
- Previous experience training and developing staff.
- Strong computer and data entry skills with EMR experience.
- Current RN licensure, BCLS and Mandatory Reporter certifications.
General Functions of Position:
- Manage and lead day-to-day operational functions of Prenatal department.
- Supervise all clinical (nursing) staff within department and train new staff.
- Serve as working manager, filling in during clinical hours whenever needed.
- Maintain department budget.
- Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of required reports, reconciliations and/or audits relative to functions of department(s) managed.
- Coordinate and maintain Immunization program, ensuring standards are met or exceeded, and ensure clinic staff are properly educated on accurate immunization updates, policies, and changes.
- Collaborate with other executives, directors and managers to facilitate efficient flow and staffing of other clinical areas.
- Ensure that all SCHC policies, procedures, and grant requirements are met.
