Responsibilities
- Assist members with account inquiries, transactions, and service requests in a professional manner
- Process deposits, withdrawals, and other cash handling activities accurately using cash management and cashiering skills
- Manage customer relationships through effective communication and relationship management techniques
- Conduct upselling of banking products and services to meet member needs and enhance their banking experience
- Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity
- Maintain accurate records of debits & credits, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Provide guidance on retail math calculations related to financial transactions and product offerings
- Uphold compliance with banking regulations and internal policies at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial sales, customer relationship management, or related roles within banking or financial services preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with members
- Proficiency in financial software applications and basic math skills including retail math and cashiering procedures
- Experience with cash handling, debits & credits, cash management, and cashiering operations required
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in finance or customer service are a plus
