Responsibilities
- Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ICU
- Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period
- Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care
- Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients
- Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
- IA RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required - inhouse education available upon hire
- One year of Medical/Surgical preferred or critical care experience
- New grads with a strong desire for critical care are encouraged to apply
- 72 hours a pay period
- Day/Night/Weekend/Holiday Rotation
- 12 hour shifts 6:30-7
- The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
