The salary range for this position is $170,000 – $210,000. Actual compensation is based on the overall skill level, experience and qualifications of the individual.

Responsibilities
- Interpret and review construction, ranging from initial concept narratives to formal RFPs and complete drawing sets.
- Manage and execute preconstruction processes for negotiated projects
- Manage and execute competitive bids.
- Develop precise and detailed estimates, RFP responses, and proposals.
- Create comprehensive trade breakdowns and oversee subcontractor budgeting and bidding.
- Liaise with architects and owners to address constructability concerns and ensure alignment with design intents during preconstruction.
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of ten years of diversified estimating and construction experience.
- High level of proficiency in ProEst, Bluebeam, Excel, and the MS Office Suite.
- Skilled in transforming numbers into clear, actionable reports for diverse audiences.
- Strong ability to read and analyze drawings and specifications.
- Demonstrated adaptability in learning new software related to modeling, estimating, and scheduling.
- Extensive experience preparing detailed estimates, with a solid understanding of costs and unit rates specific to the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Knowledge of the San Francisco Bay Area subcontracting community.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage teams effectively.
- Skilled at setting clear goals, fostering collaboration, and maintaining team morale.
- Strategic communication abilities, including clear and impactful messaging across various audience sizes.
- Strong writing skills for professional documentation and correspondence.
