Position Summary
Single Source Medical is seeking 1st Shift Press Brake & DiaCro Brake Operator. The primary responsibilities of a Brake Press Operator are to bend sheet metal in accordance with design specifications and to ensure each piece produced is free of defects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze blueprints, sketches, and specifications to understand the design and dimensions of the tools that are needed.
Operate a variety of manual and CNC Press Brakes and DiaCro Brakes.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other manufacturing professionals to troubleshoot issues and optimize the manufacturing process.
Maintain their workstation in a clean and organized manner.
Experience with metal fabrication and operating different types of circular saws and bandsaws to cut materials to precise dimensions.
Optimizes production processes, maximizing throughput. Identifies areas of improvement.
Executes work assignments based on company needs.
Ensures compliance with safety guidelines and company standards.
Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
Experience, Qualifications, And Skills
High school diploma or GED.
5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Proficiency in operating various manual and CNC Press Brakes, DiaCro Brakes and saws.
Ability to troubleshoot issues with tools and dies and find solutions.
Competent with Microsoft Office and capable of using database systems.
Ability to be an effective communicator with all team members.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as Part prints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to read precision gauges and visual accuracy.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
