Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate the Squre POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, take orders, and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for sales.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Latte art skills are required

Experience

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the café or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with Squre POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and cash handling procedures is essential.
• Strong math skills for accurate cash register operations and sales calculations.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
