A physician-owned neurology practice is seeking an experienced PA or NP for inpatient neurology coverage at a small community hospital in Hollywood.
This is a hospital rounding position designed around clinical focus and a sustainable schedule: no admissions, no nights, and no call, with dedicated scribe support, a stable census, and a predictable weekday workflow. Rounds typically run 4–5 hours per day, on a schedule you set — offering full-time compensation for what is effectively a part-time daily commitment.
About the role:
- See patients on your own schedule — mornings, afternoons, or evenings (rounds typically 4–5 hours/day)
- Weekday coverage, with two weekends per month required
- Dedicated scribe support and same-day dictation
- Autonomy with collaborative support from a supervising neurologist
Responsibilities:
- Manage hospitalized neurology patients independently
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans
- Document and code accurately for billing and compliance
- Collaborate with hospital teams
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years inpatient/hospitalist PA or NP experience (required)
- Neurology experience preferred (internal medicine/hospitalist considered)
- Current CA license, board certification, and DEA license
Compensation & Benefits:
- $120,000–$140,000 per year
